The NFL free agent market this offseason offers a wide variety of receivers, from young, explosive playmakers to reliable veterans who can help a contender on a short-term deal. While a true number one target may be scarce, there are plenty of options to significantly improve a team's passing attack.

Here are the top five wide receivers available in free agency:

1. George Pickens: The Cowboys used the non-exclusive franchise tag on the talented 24-year-old, who is coming off a 1,429-yard season. It's rare for a tagged player to leave, but his youth and production make him a prime asset.

2. Alec Pierce: A premier big-play threat, Pierce has led the NFL in yards per catch the last two seasons. At 25, he's an ascending talent coming off his first 1,000-yard campaign.

3. Rashid Shaheed: Valued for his dual-threat ability, Shaheed is an exceptional kick and punt returner in addition to being a deep offensive weapon, as he proved in key playoff moments for Seattle.

4. Mike Evans: The veteran's 11-season streak of 1,000 yards was snapped by an injury-plagued 2024. At 33, he may not be in his prime, but he can still be a productive contributor on a short-term deal.

5. Tyreek Hill: The ultimate high-risk, high-reward gamble. Hill is a Hall-of-Fame talent coming off a major knee injury and off-field concerns, but if healthy, he remains a game-changing force.
