Kroenke Sports & Entertainment confirmed that the “Avs Alley” watch party, which was slated to occur outside Ball Arena this Tuesday, has been called off. Although the event was free, it required prior ticket registration; however, the organizers decided to scrap the plans due to the worsening weather forecast across Denver.

According to regional meteorological reports, a robust spring storm system is moving through the area, bringing with it the threat of several inches of heavy, wet snow between Tuesday and Wednesday. These conditions are anticipated to cause significant disruption to local travel and make hosting outdoor activities unfeasible.

The cancellation is especially disappointing for fans given the current playoff excitement. The Avalanche are coming off a high-octane 9–6 victory against the Minnesota Wild in their series opener.
