Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nolan Smith Jr. found himself in legal trouble this past Friday following an arrest in Twiggs County, Georgia. According to confirmation from the local Sheriff’s Office, the 25-year-old NFL athlete faces charges related to reckless driving and excessive speeding.
Law enforcement officials reported that Smith was clocked traveling at a speed of 135 mph in an area where the limit is set to 70 mph on Interstate 16. Following his arrest and processing at the county jail, Smith was released on bond and is now awaiting a scheduled court appearance.
