Indiana University has signed head football coach Curt Cignetti to another contract extension, a deal that averages over $13 million per season and runs through the 2033 campaign.

The move comes after Cignetti led the Hoosiers to a national championship in 2025, compiling a remarkable 27-2 record over his two years at the school, including a perfect 16-0 season in the title year.

This marks Cignetti's third contract extension in just two years at Indiana, underscoring the school's commitment to keeping him long-term. His new salary places him among the elite of college football coaches, alongside figures like LSU's Lane Kiffin and Georgia's Kirby Smart.

Cignetti's previous extension in October 2025, which raised his average salary to $11.6 million, included a clause for renegotiation if Indiana reached the College Football Playoff semifinals—a condition triggered by their Rose Bowl victory over Alabama.
